Some Jim....I saw some Buffleheads here about 2 weeks ago.
Winter has been close now for a while here. However late fall was the best weather in Iowa all year.
A bad year for Pheasants as well as Quail because of all the early spring rain.
A good year for Blue Birds.....But not so good for the Martins. I blame the oil in the gulf for that.
I have not had much time over the last few weeks.....maybe tomorrow will be a good day.

You added snow!!
I still have a few birds still here that should be gone.
I still have no idea what kind of bird, that I see around the front yard. I have been able to watch it for a good amount of time.
BUT......I still have not IDed it yet.

Yep, I thought the snow would be a nice touch lol.
I saw a flock of about 100 sanderlings today. they are always a blast to see in flight.
The Red-breasted Mergansers are really strutting their stuff now.
