We are supposed to hit 100 F here today which will be a record for this date.
I've been keeping the birdbath filled with fresh water and am getting birds not usually found in my backyard - chickadees ans Red-winged Blackbird adults are bringing their fledglings to the water. I know they are both extremely common birds but I very rarely get either of these in my yard.

A Kansas wind to go along with the heat, Shari???
Starzz..I almost welcome some cooler weather! Notice I said "almost" LOL! A very strange weather for here in Iowa. I figure I will just enjoy it while the time is right!
